David M. Wahl is a licensed associate broker at Warren Real Estate in Ithaca, N.Y. A graduate of Niagara University, he holds a Bachelor of Science in business with a concentration in hotel administration. He began his career with progressive sales and management positions at Marriott International, the Starwood Hotel Group, Cornell University and Coldwell Banker Real Estate. Leveraging this hospitality and marketing expertise, Wahl joined Warren Real Estate and has spent over a decade working full-time as an agent, representing hundreds of buyers and sellers in Tompkins County and the surrounding region. He invests in his own portfolio of local rental properties to better understand the challenges clients face and to keep “skin in the game,” a commitment he says enhances the advice he gives to buyers and investors.

Beyond sales, Wahl brings a deep personal understanding of relocation—having lived in Tampa, San Diego and Brooklyn—and has personally bought or sold property nearly eighteen times, eleven of them in Ithaca. He serves or has served on multiple boards and professional organizations: he is a past chair of the Ithaca Board of Realtors’ advertising and public-relations committee, where he also served as Public Relations Chair, a past board member and Committee Chairman of the Ithaca Public Education Initiative, where he also serves as Public Relations Chair, and is a member of the Ithaca City Housing Review Board. Wahl is affiliated with the Tompkins County Landlord Association and holds numerous designations, including GREEN and Certified Buyer Representative, Certified Negotiation Expert and Cornell University Relocation Specialist. Wahl’s combination of hospitality training, real-estate experience and civic involvement make him one of Ithaca’s most respected real-estate professionals.
